Privacy

Privacy is treated as a product decision, not an afterthought.

This page explains what the public site currently does with calculator data, what may be stored only on your device, and what standard technical data may still be processed by the hosting infrastructure for normal site operation and security.

How the public site works

Triathlon Regimen is designed as a privacy-conscious public site. The calculators are built primarily for direct browser use, and the public experience is intentionally lightweight.

No advertising trackers

The public site does not intentionally load ad-tech trackers or third-party marketing scripts as part of the core experience described on this page.

No required account

You can use the calculators without creating an account. That reduces the amount of personal information the site needs to collect in the first place.

Calculator inputs and local storage

Most convenience features are meant to stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

Many calculators store preferences or the most recent values in your browser so the page feels more useful when you return. Examples include saved profile inputs, recent values, and display preferences such as pace units.

That local storage is controlled by your browser on your own device. It is not the same thing as the site collecting an account profile on a central user database.

You can clear local storage at any time by resetting the calculator, clearing site data in your browser, or using private/incognito browsing.

Technical logs and hosting infrastructure

Like most websites, the hosting layer and web server may process standard technical request data such as IP address, request path, user agent, referrer, date/time, and response status. This kind of processing is commonly used for security, performance, and reliability.

Those technical logs are not the same thing as behavioral advertising profiles, but they can still contain personal data under some privacy laws. This page is meant to be transparent about that distinction.

Third-party links and embedded resources

Some pages link to third-party resources such as PubMed, journal sites, or platform documentation. When you click an external link, you leave Triathlon Regimen and become subject to that external site’s privacy practices.

If embedded content, analytics, or new third-party services are added in the future, this policy should be updated to reflect those changes before they become a hidden assumption.

Cookies, controls, and user choices

The public experience is not designed around marketing cookies. However, your browser may still store standard site data needed for page functionality, performance, or local preferences.

You remain in control through browser settings, site-data clearing, private browsing, and any device-level privacy tools you choose to use.

Children and sensitive use

The public site is intended for general endurance training and planning use. It is not designed as a service directed specifically to children, and it is not intended to be used as a substitute for professional medical care.

Users should avoid submitting sensitive medical details through ordinary website contact channels unless that disclosure is truly necessary.

Policy updates and contact

Privacy expectations should stay clear as the site evolves.

This policy may be updated as the platform changes, especially if new features, accounts, analytics, integrations, or sharing systems are introduced.
